I know a lot of our contact lately has been through phone and aim and all that indirect stuff, but I’m glad that we were able to get back that communication.

I’m really happy that we were able to bring back  our friendship. I’m glad that even though we’re older you’re still the same goofy Charlyn that I remember from elementary school. You’re always so willing to put a smile on everyone’s faces. You truly care about people and that’s really rare nowadays. I know that you try so hard to ensure that other people are happy, even before you secure your own happiness. Please don’t ever change. 

I know you have a lot on your plate, but don’t ever let that big beautiful smile fade. Even though you have those “trust issues” we were talking about, remember that you deserve happiness. And you should try to let people give it to you. Tell the people you love that you love them as soon as you can. Don’t take on the world by yourself— even though I know you are probably fully able to kick its butt. Let others help you.

You’re smart, funny, so beautiful inside and out, and such a blessing in so many people’s lives. I need to know that I’ve told you that. I’ll miss you.
